Kaneji and Sally (Fujii) Domoto Collection

Letter from Sally to her sister Hanako in Topaz sharing general updates. She will have pictures taken of the kids soon and send them. Andy, a young cousin, has been coming to visit from a nearby college. Hasn't heard from her sister Sue (Sumiko), trying to get in touch. Lots of visitors: a visit from Wak from Boston. A friend from Amache whose family is still in camp is currently staying with them. Good weather, garden doing well. Her father is going to a "diabetic diet kitchen" and she hopes it will help. Second letter enclosing pictures from Easter. Sally shares a recent visit from Sue in which they went to New York City (Sally's first time since arriving in New York State in October) and met up with Andy. A visit from Dick Harada visited and shared bad news about Ohada-san, which Sally thinks must have upset her father.
