Sakahara and Tanaka Families Collection

Transcription of clipping: Noboru Sakahara was released at Camp Grant, Ill., Nov 15, 1945. He enlisted in Jan 1942 and fought in the Rome-Arno, Northern Apennine, Po valley and the Rhineland. He has the European-African-Middle Eastern theater ribbon with four bronze battle stars, the American campaign, good conduct, World War 11 Victory medals and the Purple Heart for wounds received in France, Jan 28,1945.
