Memorial for Nisei veterans (ddr-densho-26-3)
This memorial honors Nisei soldiers from Washington State who were killed during World War II. The memorial consists of each soldier's picture, a brief biography, and an overview of his military career.

Floyd Schmoe was a long time peace activist. After the bombing of Hiroshima he was instrumental in spearheading a campaign to build homes for the bomb survivors.
