Nisei soldier's caption: Bagnoli near Naples. After our battalion and the 442nd attached to the 84 division fought to Arno and winning a presidential citation at Varoa near Leghorn we pulled back to Naples in preparation to go to France. Joined here by 800 replacements. Since Bagnoli was close to Naples and Pompeii we went visiting quite often.
