Original caption: Cecina Area, Italy. Bugler Pfc. Charles Kimura of Honolulu, T.H., plays taps as the rifle squad stands at "present arms," after firing salute to the 72 members of the 2nd Bn., 442nd Inf. Regt., honored at a memorial service held after one month of combat. The regiment consists of Japanese Americans. U.S. Fifth Army. 30 July 1944.
