A resolution was passed on April 25, 1984, to seek redress for Nisei who lost their jobs with the Seattle School District during World War II due to their Japanese ancestry. Shown here are former school district employees and supporters of that resolution. Front (top to bottom): Alice Kawanishi; Mako Nakagawa, past president of the JACL; and Cherry Kinoshita, co-chair for the Seattle redress committee. Back: Ai Koshi; T. J.
