Alameda Japanese American History Project: Family and Community Collection

Caption below photo: Takuritsu Morita, far right, poses with friends. Standing in the center of the rock could be Henry Takagi. Morita may have set this photo up himself as he often enjoyed doing. While self-timers were available in this time, someone could have triggered the camera for him. 1915-1933, but more likely 1915-1919, when he was living in Oakland. Morita then lived in Alameda, CA, from about 1919 to 1933.
