Caption below photo: Issei Taiji Mashihara, of Alameda, CA., He was a dentistry student at the University of California at Berkeley, then moved to Massachusetts. On July 15, 1920, he was granted a certificate from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice dentistry and dental surgery. He died of Tuberculosis on January 10, 1927.
