Yakima Valley Wapato Nippons Baseball Team (ddr-densho-293-210)
This is a picture of the Yakima Valley Wapato Nippons baseball team, which formed in 1928. The first Japanese-only baseball team in the Yakima Valley. They were teenagers and farmers. The Wapato Nippons won the Mount Adams championships in 1934 and 1935.
