    "description": "Envelope addressed to Dr. Keizaburo Koyama at Camp Livingston from his children, William Koyama and Miriam Kiyo Koyama, at Minidoka.  Postmarked Sep 11, 1942. To the left of the postmark “Sept 14, 42” is written in red pencil. On the left side of the envelope is a purple \"Censored\" stamp. Inside the envelope are two letters, one from Miriam and one from William, both dated Sept 9, 1942. Miriam writes to Kei about arriving in Idaho, how dusty and sandy it is, and how the food is better. She also tells her father about getting lost in Minidoka. In a postscript she writes a short poem. William writes in his letter about the rough train ride from Portland to Idaho and the bus ride to Minidoka. He describes the camp's size and weather.",
