    "description": "Photocopy of a declassified application for the rehearing of Keizaburo Koyama brought about by his wife, Teru Koyama. In addition to being a devout Christian, Teru writes that her husband was active in community and church associations, raised money for the American Red Cross and Community Chest, and that she and her husband have to wish to be repatriated and want to stay in the United States to raise their children as Americans. She states that she has had serious intestinal operations and does not expect to live long. She wants her family to be reunited so that they do not continue to drift apart. While they do not wish to be in an internment camp, she writes that they will do so if it allows them to be together. She ends her application pleading for a rehearing for her husband.",
