    "bioghist": "Tsutomu \"Tom\" Fukuyama was born May 17, 1915 on Bainbridge Island. He had an older sister, Mary (Fukuyama) Ima. Tom was detained at the Puyallup Assembly Center and was transferred to Minidoka on September 3, 1942. He departed on August 27, 1945. He met his wife, Betty Adkins, near the end of his time at Minidoka. They were married on August 7, 1945. During the course of their marriage they had two children and adopted three more. Tom was a minister at several churches across the United States, until his retirement in the 1970s.  He died on November 23, 1988 and is buried at the Port Blakely Cemetery.",
