The story of the forty-seven ronin is famous in Japan. The story of the forty-seven ronin has been made into numerous movies in Japan. Lord Asano, the samurai's master, was forced to commit hara-kiri as punishment for daring to strike another lord. His samurai, left masterless, sought revenge on the on the lord responsible for Asano's death. The ronin are now buried next to Lord Asano in Japan.",
