After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, was segregated from fellow soldiers along with other Japanese Americans. Recruited to the Military Intelligence Service and trained in Minnesota. After the war, lived for a time in Minneapolis before eventually returning to Oregon.<p>(This material is based upon work assisted by a grant from the Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
