    "description": "Color slide of Rose Festival Parade float 18 driving down W Burnside in front of a crowd gathered outside the Noon Bag Company building.  On the side of the building is an advertisement for San Juan Slacks.  The float is a large sailboat with six women riding inside, one is holding a pink ribbon.  The sail of the boat reads \"4-H\" and the side of the float reads \"Clackamas Co.\"  Written on the front of the float is \"Sailing\" and a small yellow sign is above with the number 18.  Behind the float march an unidentified group dress in blue carring a blue flag and the American flag.  The Portland Rose Festival Parade is an annual event in which floats are made out of flowers and paraded down the streets of Portland.  According to donor processed on July 3, 1952.",
