This memorandum gives the date that Kazuichi Takanishi was paroled from the Santa Fe Justice Department internment camp. It also states that his address is unknown since a sponsor was not identified for Takanishi before he left camp. He was paroled to Chicago, Illinois.

This is the interior of Fire Station Number 1. Left to right: (first name unknown) Hikida, unidentified, Yoshio Akada, and Mr. Sano. The fire station was one of the few buildings with a refrigerator. Mr. Sano owned the bathhouse underneath the Panama Hotel in Seattle, Washington, before World War II.

Caption below photo: At right is Takuritsu Morita. The two other are probably from Oakland, CA., where Morita lived from 1915 to about 1919. After that he lived in Alameda, CA., until 1933. The unusually dressed Issei man at left appears in other photos from Morita's albums but remains unknown.
