Nisei female. Born April 22, 1939 in Los Angeles California. During World War II, sent with mother to the Manzanar concentration camp, California. Left camp for Cleveland, Ohio, under the sponsorship of a Buddhist church. Grew up in Cleveland, where mother ran a boarding house.

vh Michiko Amatatsu Noritake Interview (ddr-densho-1001-4)

Nisei female. Born December 6, 1919, in Winslow, Washington. Was fired from job as a domestic following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Removed to Manzanar concentration camp, California, and later transferred to Minidoka concentration camp, Idaho. Following World War II, returned to Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Nisei female. Born in San Juan Bautista, California. During World War II, removed with her husband to the Manzanar concentration camp, California. As a result of husband's response to the so-called "loyalty questionnaire," transferred to Tule Lake. After leaving camp, resettled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

An envelope postmarked November 12, 1942, from David Miyamoto at Manzanar to John Bonomi of Brunswig Drug Company of Los Angeles. The letter is addressed to a Monterey Park address and forwarded to a Long Beach address, presumably both home addresses for John Bonomi.

Resettled during World War II in Madison, Wisconsin, and Chicago, Illinois. Returned to Los Angeles, California, in 1948. Founding member of Nisei Progressives and the Manzanar Committee.
