Marian Asao Kurosu Interview Segment 58 (ddr-densho-1000-118-58)
Description of clothing and a photograph from Tule Lake
During this interview, Mrs. Kurosu alternately speaks in both English and Japanese. As a result, the English translation of the transcript contains [Jpn.] and [Eng.], which indicate whether the original dialogue was spoken in Japanese or English.

Stockade wood-burning stove (ddr-densho-11-8)
In 1943, Tule Lake concentration camp became a segregation center. A stockade was built to detain those who were considered security risks by the WRA. This wood-burning stove was used to help heat the stockade.

Doris Abey Hrubant aka Sahomi Tachibana, was their dance teacher at Tule Lake and Topaz (Edith's older sister).
