[Handwritten Draft] Ai Chih Tsai just returned from special mission for US government in Japan. He met Khe-an and many Formosans in Tokyo. Formosa is facing difficult a period. He focused on meeting the post-war spiritual needs of Formosas: educational institutions, missionaries and securing the help of the Foreign Missionary Boards.

Ai Chih and his classmate from Doshisha and future brother-in-law, both waiters at the St Louis Country Club. The two of them were thought to have been the only Taiwanese in the US during the war.
