Nisei male. Born February 11, 1908, in Lodi, California. Resettled voluntarily to Mankato, Minnesota, prior to mass removal. Resettled in central California in 1947. Member of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) since 1929. Became active in the redress movement as fundraiser and lobbyist for Central California District Council of JACL.

Nisei male. Born December 10, 1917, and grew up in Sanger, California. During World War II, incarcerated in the Poston concentration camp, Arizona. Served in the Military Intelligence Service as an interpreter in Japan. After military service, moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and became involved with the Japanese American Citizens League.

The Japanese American Citizens League headquarters is being used as a Wartime Civil Control Administration station. Prior to evacuation orders it was used as a language school.
