Sansei male. Born October 5, 1935, in Santa Monica, California. Raised in Berkeley, California, where father worked as a salesman. Removed to Tanforan Assembly Center, California, and Topaz concentration camp, Utah. Mother had difficult time in camp. Family was one of the last to leave Topaz.
