Born in Illinois in 1900, Arthur Kleinkopf and his family moved to Missouri, where he graduated from school and married Edith Botts. Arthur and Edith secured teaching positions in Roseworth, Idaho in 1921, and continued to teach in small Idaho schools until 1940.
