The collection includes scrapbooks filled with news clippings on Japanese American incarceration, dated 1942-1980s. It also includes loose issues of Pacific Citizen, Kashu Mainichi, Rafu Shimpo, and Maui Kanyaku Imin (Centennial Edition).

One of the major players in the movement for Japanese American redress and reparations, Mr. Hohri founded the National Council for Japanese American Redress (NCJAR).
