Caption below photo: Mrs. Kora and Yoshino Otsu appear in a number of photos together, but whether they were related is open to question. The families lived in Alameda, CA. Tomoe is Yoshino's daughter. Tomoe was born on December 15, 1917, making this photo likely the late 1920s.

Caption below photo: Natsuko Takagi of Alameda, Ca., circa 1920. She is standing near McKinley Park, where the Alameda Taiiku-Kai baseball team played (see scoreboard in background). The tents are a mystery. She was born June 16, 1903 and later married Soichi Nakatani. She died April 14, 1992.

Caption below photo: Buichi Nakata, born in Okayama, Japan on March 13, 1899, marries Chizuye Katow, when she was 18 years old. Chizuye was born November 2, 1909 in Alameda, CA. Buichi died in Menlo Park, CA on September 18, 1987. Chizuye died in Palo Alto on December 18, 1987. They are Florence Nakata Omori's parents.
