Translation of article: Kazuhisa Abe is appointed as Kohala District Judge. He graduated from the Hilo branch of the University of Michigan. He was appointed by Judge James L. Coke, Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court. Mr. Abe is the third Japanese American judge after Mr. Okino Tomekichi and Mr. Monde Tamao.
