Reverend Masahiko Wada was a Baptist minister in Japan and in the Gardena area of California before World War II. The collection includes photographs from the Heart Mountain concentration camp, Wyoming, and the Granada (Amache) concentration camp, Colorado.

The bulk of the documents are dated from 1941 to 1943. A few letters date from the postwar period, ranging from 1972 to 1982 and 1997 to 2011.
