Helen Amerman Manning
White female. Born March 23, 1916, in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Attended Michigan State College, then Stanford University for graduate courses, before becoming a high school teacher at the Minidoka concentration camp. After World War II, worked for various organizations in the field of race relations, including the San Francisco Council for Civic Unity, and the Oakland Redevelopment Agency.
