…L.A. look sick and small, but of course give me good ‘ol L.A. any day. Chicago is a very dirty city. The buildings are all dirty and black not like L.A. Papers fly all around the streets.

Mollie, I hope you had a very Merry Xmas and a very Happy New Year.

You know, Junko Yoshigai, well she’s here too and she’s staying only building away from me. She rents one room, and she’s here, in Chicago, all by herself. Her mother & father & sister are still in Camp, they plan to come out in the Spring. Do you know a girl by the name of Kazuko Masuda? She went to Roosevelt Hi. She’s here too and I know you know Suzie Hatorii. Well she’s here too. She changed her name to Susan Torii, and Kazuko changed hers to Bonnie. Yes everyone is changing their names…
