Dear Molly – chan:
Just got your more than wel-comed letter. And about the calendar, forget about it, cause they sold the Heart Mountain calendar and are giving real pretty calendar, free with a dollar purchase of goods at our canteen. Thanks a lot anyway.
Our new semester is going to start next week, but I am still in 11th grade. Because in this state, there isn’t any 11 – 17 or 13, so they made me repeat 11 – 13 over. Yeah. All the boys started registering today for the Army. After they’re through, the girls over 17…

…years of age are going to register for Waac’s. Gosh its really going to be sad with all the boys gone. Any way, they’re asking for volunteers first and later if there’s not enough volunteers their going to draft them.
My sister and my beau are trying to join the farming bunch. So they wouldn’t have to go, but their city slickers and don’t know anything about farming. Saturday, we went to the Valentine social, gosh did we have a lot of fun. Came home about 11:30 P.M.
We’re going to see movie every week, tomorrow we’re going to see “Swiss Family Robinson” we never get to see new picture, its always…

…old. But all the pictures I didn’t see I get to see, so don’t make any difference to me. About Errol Flynn’s case, my father worked for him and he said Errol don’t look that type. In my opinion I think he’s innocent. Gosh, camp life is boring. All the kids out here are ice skating. I don’t care to ice skate, I rather play ping pong.
Oh! Molly about this Yuriko’s letter what do you mean by that. There wasn’t any other letter in the envelope except mine.
And about Haruko, I never see her around…
