Local Enemy Aliens Will Register Again

Re-registration of all enemy aliens above the age of 14 years in the Seattle area has been ordered by the Federal Government, and will take place February 2-7, it was announced by Postmaster George E. Starr.

Former alien registration records show 3,570 Japanese, 1,188 Germans, and 1,505 Italians in Seattle and vicinity.

Postmaster Starr said that this time enemy aliens must show photographs of themselves, which will be used on an identification card they will be issued.

Fingerprinting this time will be confined to the right index finger, the report from Washington said.
