Dear Grace, Tsuguo, and Kiyoo:

Speaking for the class, I can honestly say that your inspiring message was warmly received. We realize that it must have taken great courage, though you may not admit, to have written that note. You three were members of our class, and if the hands of fate had not interceded, no doubt we could have felt the spirit of graduation together.

We have not forgotten you Grace -- you amongst your quiet learnings -- nor you Tsuguo -- you and your constant lackadaisicalness -- nor you Kiyoo -- you and your fastidious neatness.

This you probably know already; originally we were scheduled to graduate on Jan. 21, but on account of the snow storm, it was delayed until January 28.

As in all things, a conclusion must be reached; this is no exception. Again I say thanks for your treasured note...

Harry Lee
