I got up 8:30 cuz I just wasn't in the mood of sleeping on such a fine Sunday morning. About 9:30 I went over to Sumako's room-- she was still sleeping, as well as Mary Wada. Nobi Okano was up ironing. I woke Sumako up and I started whacking the flies on her bed. Talked with her and Nobi, had French toast, malt cereal with banana. Sayuki, Betty and her pal came in so we invited them to eat. Went to church with Sumako and (Sayuki). Sumako liked it -- I'm glad she did go. I left Nyssa 12:10 -- I just thought about Sumako all the way home. I arrived in Hunt 11:40 p.m. made my bed -- the little deer I bought Mom was broken. Mom sure wants me to stay out of the war. It sure feels great to come home even though it's only a camp. A bit stiff on the legs.
