Today all the boys went up to the ad-building and signed a 16 acres of sugar beets in Twin Falls. Kinda cold again today -- dry as ever. Boy scouts had a jamboree tonight -- packed a little. Emo Saito got me some jam and bread and oranges for tomorrow's meals. Took a shower, met a fellow from Portland. Can't recall his name right now -- swell fellow -- fooled around with Hank Yamada a little. Sab received a letter which I addressed Minidoka, Wyoming -- slight error.
