SERGEANT OMOTO VISITS FAMILY AT RELOCATION CENTER

HUNT, Ida., Wednesday, April 28--Sergt. Taketo Omoto paid a surprise visit to his friends and family here last week. He is the son of Mrs. M. Omoto, Wing Point. He is stationed at Camp Crowder, Mo., and was one of the early Island inductees.

Also visiting this center was Private Akira Shibukawa, a former Islander from Camp Robinson, Arkansas. Private Shibukawa is an instructor of Jiu-jitsu in the Army camp. Pictures of him and Jiu-jitsu classes appeared in "Life" a year ago.

Y. Suyematsu and son Isamu, Rolling Bay, left this center last week for Nyssa, Ore. They will be employed on a beet and vegetable farm. Leaving this center for other work in Twin Falls, Ida., a nearby city, were Miss Yoshiko Mikama, daughter of Mrs. K. Mikami, Winslow, and Miss Satoye Kojima, daughter of K. Kojima, Port Madison.
