TOMEYO NAKAO QUITS GILA RIVER CENTER FOR MANZANAR

MANZANAR, Calif., Wednesday, February 17--A Bainbridge '31 graduate, Tomeyo Nakao, joined her family, Mr. and Mrs. T. Nakao, Winslow, last week from the Gila River Relocation Center in Arizona. Miss Nakao, who was living in Los Angeles, was first evacuated to the Santa Anita Assembly Center before moving to Gila River. She won high scholastic honors during her years at the Island school. A few months ago Mrs. Yone Nakao arrived here from the Tule Lake Relocation Center with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Yamashita, to join her husband. Mrs. Y. Nakao is the former Martha Yamashita of Silverdale.

RITSUKO TERAYAMA WEDS

The wedding of Ritsuko Terayama, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Terayama, Port Madison, and Mr. Minoru "Mac" Hamamura, formerly of Ferncliff and Kirkland, was held February 8. Miss Terayama was employed in the Artcraft department, teaching needlework, and was former treasurer of the Block Three Young People's Club, Mr. Hamamura is a temporary visitor from the Relocation Center in Minidoka, Ida. They will live in Minidoka. She is a 1938 graduate of Bainbridge High School.
