MANZANAR, Calif., Wednesday, February 3--Mrs. K. Nishi and her 6-year-old son, Bobbie, left Manzanar last week for the Tule Lake Recreation Center in Newell, Calif., to join her parents and family who have been relocated there from Sunnydale. The former Port Madison residents were given a farewell party Saturday night by her close friends. Mrs. Nishi was a kindergarten teacher during her first months here and recently had been dietician for the children in the mess hall. Bobbie had attended grammar school since its recent opening.

STORK VISITS SAKUMAS

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Sakuma were proud parents of a baby boy last week born in the Manzanar Hospital. Both the mother and the child are doing fine, Mrs. Sakuma returning to her home recently. The child, their first, has been named David. This is the second child to be born among the Islanders in Manzanar.
