Masako Nishimori Marries Sacramento Man At Manzanar

MANZANAR, Calif., Wednesday, January 6 (delayed)--Miss Masako Nishimori, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. Nishimori, Winslow, and Eddie Nagata, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Nagata, Sacramento, Calif., were married here December 16.
The couple were married in a simple family wedding held in the home of the bride's parents. Officiating was the Rev. B. Oda, Los Angeles. Because of the Army order that prevailed at that time prohibiting public gatherings, immediate friends were not called as was originally planned.

THREE RETURN
The day before Christmas found three Islanders returning from Idaho Falls, where they had been employed on a turkey ranch after the beet harvest season. Reporting that they would like to go back next season were: Yoshio Katayama, George Okazaki and Shigarro Moritani, all of Winslow.

ENGAGEMENT REVEALED
In a gathering of close friends, the engagement of Yaiko Yamashita, daughter of Mrs. M. Yamashita, Winslow, to Kenji Nagaishi, son of Mrs. T. Nagaishi, Los Angeles, was revealed December 27.
Miss Yamashita is a 1937 graduate of Bainbridge High School leading her class in scholastic honors. She was employed in a Fletcher Bay store prior to her move here. In Manzanar she was employed at the canteen and at present is working at the Manzanar Beauty Shop.
Mr. Nagaishi is a former resident of Seattle and his parents at one time resided on Bainbridge Island.
