NAKATAS PLAN TO MOVE TO IDAHO CENTER

HUNT, Ida., Tuesday, November 24--The Bainbridge Islanders in Hunt were surprised with a visit by I. Nakata and son, Kenneth, who were returning to Manzanar after seeing their relatives in Caldwell, Ida. They are formerly of Winslow. The Nakata family is planning to move to Caldwell.

Miss May Katayama, Winslow, quit Minidoka for Chicago. She plans to obtain work in the city.

With the nearby farm crops in, and the critical labor shortage relieved, the students from Hunt High School returned to the center recently. Studies were resumed after the month-long harvest vacation. The Idaho farmers expressed their gratitude for the help given by the evacuees, who not only harvested their crops, but also aided in the war effort by producing fighting food for the war and home fronts.

The National War Fund Drive was being conducted in Hunt this week under the sponsorship of various staff members and residents.
