ARMY INDUCTS TAKASHI SAKUMA ISLAND VOLUNTEER

HUNT, Ida., Wednesday, November 17--Takashi Sakuma, who volunteered in April, and left for employment in Margengo, Ill., recently was inducted at Fort Custer, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Nakao, Winslow, returned to Hunt from Burley where Sam had been working on a farm through the spring and summer seasons.

Sachika Koura returned to camp from Wendell, Ida., where she had been doing domestic work.

* * * * *

O. Nagatani, Island Center, underwent a minor operation at the center hospital. He is recovering rapidly.

* * * * *

Coming home from the local hospital this week, was Mrs. M. Koura, Manzanita. She had been in the hospital for over two months, suffering from a skin disease.
