'NIBS' OKAZAKI, NOW A SERGEANT, VISITS EVACUEES

HUNT, Ida., Wednesday, November 3--Sergt. "Nibs" Okazaki arrived last week from Camp Shelby, Miss., to visit his mother. He is training in the Japanese Combat Unit. Another brother, Bill a volunteer, is also serving in the same unit.

Yoshiko Mikami, Miyo Mikami, and Elsie Amatatsu completed their contracts for a canning company in Clearfield, Utah, and have returned to camp. Yoshiko Mikami and her sister, Toshiko, are planning to attend a business college in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mr. Arota, of Manzanita spent a couple days in camp visiting his sick wife. Mrs. Arota is confined in the local hospital.

While on a short furlough, PFC. Saburo Takayoshi was in camp recently visiting his mother, Mrs. R. Takayoshi, Port Blakely. He is stationed at Fort Benjamin, Ind.
