NISEI BATTLE HERO BACK

HUNT, Ida., Wednesday, September 2--A visitor to Hunt last week was Staff Sergt. Paul Sakai, formerly of Seattle, who had just returned from the North African battlefield. He wore the battle star and five campaign ribbons, awarded him while fighting with the Second Army Corps in Africa. Sergeant Sakai intends to join the Army Language School at Camp Savage, Minn., after he returns to New York City.

Mrs. M. Koura, Manzanita, was confined in the local hospital recently to receive treatments for skin rash which resulted from mosquito bite poisoning.

Morio Terayama, Battle Point, returned recently from Jerome, Ida., to go back to school with the rest of the seniors. He was employed during the vacation as an auto mechanic in a Jerome garage. Other Bainbridgites who enrolled for their last year in high school were Toshio Suyematsu, Mary and Tokuo Chihara, Emiko Yamashita, Junji Yukawa, Yoshito Kitayama, Taeko Sakai, and Tony Koura.
