GRANGER URGES JAP DEPORTATION

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Nov. 16.--(AP)--The National Grange convention was urged by its California representative today to favor deportation of all Japanese at the end of the war.

George Sehlmeyer, master of the California State Grange, also presented a resolution urging that all Japanese camps be transferred from supervision of the War Relocation Authority to the Army.

The W.R.A. has shown itself incapable, Sehlmeyer asserted, of controlling the camps.

National Master Albert S. Goss opposed the deportation resolution, saying the State Department and the American Red Cross opposed raising this issue now.
