ASIATIC HORDE NOW POURING INTO CANADA

VICTORIA, B.C., Wednesday, July 3.--It is expected more than 3,000 Japanese will arrive in British Columbia this month from Japan and Honolulu, and as many, if not more, are expected in August. Steamship Kumeric will bring the first consignment of 2,000 Japanese from Honolulu, to be followed by other British steamships bringing a similar number. The numbers being brought across the Pacific are constantly increasing. Five steamships due during the next two weeks from Japan have more than 900 aboard.

Steamship President arrived last night from San Francisco will 426 passengers. A.A. Isbell, wireless telegraph expert of the steamship, was landed at Tatoosh to conduct experiments for the government. While the wireless expert was being sent ashore a passenger named Wilson fell from the rail, but was speedily hauled on board again.
