JAPS TO PREPARE IDAHO RETREAT

About 200 Japanese technicians and laborers left the Japanese assembly center at Puyallup yesterday afternoon to prepare permanent quarters in Idaho for the remaining 7,000 Japanese men, women and children who will follow them from Camp Harmony.

The vanguard was expected to arrive this afternoon at Minidoka, near Twin Falls, in Southern Idaho, which will be the home for Western Washington Japanese "for the duration."

The remaining 7,000 still at Puyallup are expected to be moved to the Idaho relocation center by the end of August.
