4,100 Japs Ordered From Los Angeles

SAN FRANCISCO, May 22. -- (AP) -- The Army today directed the removal of an estimated 4,100 Japanese from sections of Los Angeles City and County in an order carrying the largest single effect of any issued since the West Coast evacuation program was undertaken.

The new order, No. 86, is the 23rd affecting the Los Angeles region and will complete the transfer of alien and citizen Japanese from that area. It is to be fulfilled by June 2.
