AGAINST JAPANESE LABOR.
Central Labor Council to Begin Movement Against Coolies.

Japanese coolie labor was the question under discussion at the regular meeting of the Central Labor Council in the Temple of Labor last evening.

Delegates from every union forming the council were present and decided to appoint Robert Hesketh, W.G. Gill and A.E. Fowler a committee to arrange a meeting of representatives of all the labor unions possible for the purpose of forming a permanent organization to fight the importation of Japanese coolie labor. The committee has not yet perfected arrangements for the conference nor decided upon the date of the meeting.
