Midwest Colleges To Take Jap Students

BERKELEY, Calif., March 28. -- (AP) -- Japanese college students facing evacuation from the West Coast will be accepted by universities in the Midwest and other sections of the country, President Robert Gordon Sproul of the University of California, said today. Students, American-born but of Japanese ancestry, would be affected by evacuation orders, he said.

Colleges which have offered to accept them, waiving tuition and non-residence fees, include the University of Nevada, University of Idaho, Iowa State College, University of Kansas City, and Colorado State College.
