Powerful Flares Seized With Jap

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., March 4.--(AP)--Federal agents today said the 69 cases of flares, skyrockets and other fireworks seized in the possession of an alien Japanese here were of "the most powerful type" suitable for signaling from his home near the Monterey Bay waterfront.

The Japanese, George Nakamura, was listed as a potentially dangerous alien and was turned over to immigration authorities.
