Interned Aliens Will Be Given Hearings

Assistant United States Attorney Gerald D. Hile and a three-member alien-enemy hearing board will leave Seattle next Saturday for Missoula, Mont., to conduct hearings for more than 100 Japanese sent to the internment camp from Seattle.

After conducting a hearing the board recommends to the United States attorney-general whether the person held should be released or continue to be held.

The board is composed of J. Speed Smith and Frank E. Holman, Seattle attorneys, and Leslie Stone, Orting banker. They will be there from one to three weeks.
