Six Japanese Escape Shots Fired at Home
SALT LAKE CITY, Saturday, Jan. 3--(AP)--Chief Deputy Sheriff George Beckstead today said several shots were fired from automobiles into the home of Noji Tsutsui, Salt Lake County Japanese truck gardener.
Nine bullet holes were found in the house, Beckstead said.
Mrs. Tsutsui, two sons and three daughters were at home, but none was injured.
The shooting occurred early New Year's Day. One attack was made about 2 a.m. and a second about 4 a.m.
The deputy said bullet holes were found in four separate rooms and both .45 and .32-caliber slugs were picked up.
